There are two major international veteran events to which BVF sends a selected squad to represent Great Britain: The World Championships and the European Team Championships. The European Team Championships are held every other year.
The European Individual Championships is held every other year. This is an open competition where all veteran fencers can compete amongst veterans from all over Europe.
European Veterans Fencing (EVF) holds a circuit of competitions every year in countries throughout Europe. Points are earned throughout the season and the winner becomes the European Veteran Fencer of the Year. See the EVF website for details of the Circuit.
Smaller events take place throughout the year against other countries and these are selected from BVF fencers who apply.
